Our annual Fallapalooza cocktail party was a huge success, with nearly 80 guests at the Eat My Words party pad, including Eat My Words' Gina, Rena and bartender Tina. Held on a warm fall evening, the outdoor patio was the perfect place to marvel at Chef Ciado cook his delicious paella and sip homemade Sangria. Guests included clients and friends from Landor, Perspective Branding, Deutsch Design Works, OnRequestImages, USA Today, Aerielle, Smart Design, Firewood, Sandbox Suites, and Wunderman

Sometimes, global warming works in your favor. That
was the case last night at our 3rd annual Summer Fling.
Held on the garden patio at the Eat My Words SOMA party
pad, guests dined on a catered Mediterranean feast, which
included succulent mushrooms, grilled lamb burgers, fresh
melon with prosciutto and mozzarella, and homemade
gelato sandwiched between buttery soft cookies effortlessly
made by the culinary geniuses at Herbs & Spices Catering.
Specialty cocktails, named by Eat My Words, included
Razzleberry, Pommy Dearest, Monkey Business,
and our signature drinks, Mother Pucker and the tangy
SonicBloom, which is made with the energy drink that
we named Bloom, mixed with vodka. (Don't drink more than
seven at once). Party guests included nearly 100 clients
and friends from Joie de Virve Hospitality, Glu, Landor, Igor,
Cake Financial, Pasta Pomodoro, and others. Thanks to
to our fabulous co-host's Three Girls Media and Marketing
(our awesome PR firm) and Fresh Sage Consulting. Extra
special thanks to our generous raffle donors, including
SIGG, Spoon Me,
OhMiBod, Koo-ki Sushi, ShadeCases
and Joie de Virve Hospitality. To see more photos and
learn the identities of the sexy guests pictured here,

Fallapalooza was a huge smash and we had a full house of clients and colleagues. Guests dined on everything from mini crab cakes to mini cheesecakes. Specialty cocktails included Fall Down Drunk, Leaf Blower, and October SKYY. Here are some of the party photos. More (with captions) in the official Fallapalooza Photo Album.

The
annual Eat My Words summer party was a huge success thanks to perfect
weather and the great mix of the 60+ clients and friends who showed up.
Held outdoors in the courtyard, the party was a who's-who of industry
insiders including Landor's Global Director of Naming - Anthony Shore,
techonorati Stewart Alsop, Jay & Andy from Igor, Heidi Caldwell from DDW, Bill Larsen of
Anthem, and Jon Weber of Metromint. Designamo's included packaging superstar
Peter Matsukawa, Tony Auston, Joel Templin of newly hatched Hatch, and Bonnie
McFarland of Del Monte. Speaking of Del Monte, the party marked the
official launch of the Sonic Bloom, which is the DM energy
drink we named Bloom, mixed with vodka. (Thanks to DM for the truck
load of product, and to new client Metromint for the massive supply of mintwater, and to SIGG for donating 60 super slick water bottles featuring the designs we named.) Also on the
drink menu, Mother Pucker pink lemonade and Mojohitos.
Herbs & Spices catered the event and served mini cheeseburgers,
grilled cheese sandwiches with brie and wild mushrooms, fresh crab
cakes with lemon aioli, and homemade ice cream sandwiches. Yum. Despite having no less than four professional photographers in attendance, including Kevin Ng David Campbell, Lisa Keenan and Kelly Powers, we were too busy catching up to take many photos, but there are some more good ones in the official party slideshow.

The first annual Bay Area's namers' summit was held at the Eat My Words party pad on Tuesday, February 13, 2007. Sponsored by Igor and Eat My Words, the event was a smashing success. So much juicy gossip was exchanged, but I am under NDA so you won't be hearing it from me. Attendees included hotshots from Landor, Catchword, Lexicon and more. More scandalous photos posted in the official party album. If you missed the fun, lick the screen to taste the menu...

Eat My Words and Igor are hosting a namer party/reunion/gossip fest at the Eat My Words party pad next week. We invited every namer in the Bay Area, and just about all of them are converging here to tell everyone how successful they are. In addition to the professional namers, a professional mind-reader will mingle with the guests and steal their ideas for me and the Bad Boys of Igor, since we don't have any ideas of our own. We're also spiking drinks with truth serum (more commonly known as sodium pentothal), to get namers to spill their guts and reveal closely guarded patented processes.

The second annual Eat My Words office party bash after the Fancy Food Show
was a blast. I lost count after 60 people and that was just downstairs. There were cool people here from just about every firm in town including clients and friends from Landor, Charles Chocolates, Zeist, Igor, Deutsch Design Works, Brand Engine, Salt Branding, Dine Marketing, Mani Pedi, and Gloria's Gourmet Cookies. Plus I had my usual assortment of random guests, recruited by me and partner in crime, Cici, on Sunday and Monday at the Show. More fun party pix here. Thanks to everyone who came, especially Joyce from Charles Chocolates who brought treats. Same time, next year.
